IMAGES OF FLORIDA - PART 1


AS long as I'm in a birding mood, I thought I'd post some shots that I've taken during my many trips to Florida over the years. 
 I love birding in the Sunshine State, and my current list stands at 224; I've mostly birded solo, or with my friend John Haas, a buddy I've known for years from back in New York.  His knowledge and patience has been invaluable in my evolution as a birder, and we've had many good times together.

Wakodahatchee Wetlands -
Delray Beach 
BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING DUCK
Part of Palm Beach County's water reclamation system, the Wetlands boasts a 3/4 mile boardwalk, and over 140 documented bird species have been spotted, many of them photo-ops.
